Today 10 July 2003 has been the most difficult day of life in Rottweilers as I made the hardest decision I will ever have to make and that was the Have Satch put to sleep.
It was only 31 days ago that Satch was strutting his stuff in the competing veterens class in the SARC Champioship show. Prior to out trip to SA satch was tested for Prostate cancer and had we found a large tumor coming from his pelvis and all indecations were that it was prostate that had spread to the Lymph glans.
For those who were lucky enough to see my best friend ever in SA would have thought he was still only six years of age. Unfortunatley we had to have exploretory opperations and a biopsy was taken the test result came back with a negative result for tumor the team at Monash veterinarian Clinic Ray Ferguson and associates were very scepital of this result. Needless to say in the last week Satch went down hill very fast and today I had no option but treat my friend with the dignaty and respect he deserved.

We purchase Satchmoe with the intention of him becoming our main stud at Machtzucht Kennels and we can say that is the situation. Although there were many little occasions when yours truly had some doubts but they were soon put to rest. Satchmoe gained his BH on 29th March 1994 under the very watchful eye of Kormiester Hartmut Teschke from Germany, Satchmoe gained his ZTP on 30th October 1995 under Mr. Jean Vandereyken from Belgium, and Satchmoe's AD was awarded on 7th September 1996 by Mr. Bill Knox form the USA. Satchmoe has been V rated by both Carla Lensi of Italy and Joseph Edile of the USA on both occasions he was V4. Satch gained his SchH I 24th October 1999 72,79,89under Mr. John Macdonald AUS Working Judge.
Satchmoe is a fantastic family member and great teacher for his pups. He loves training with me and the kids next door.
